Aiko and her grandmother have to pay off Aiko's mother's debts. Thugs constantly bang on their apartment door to collect the money. One day, a boy named Inui puts the thugs in their place and from then on saves Aiko from risky situations more and more often - even if it means transforming himself into a hellish wolfhound! But her savior is involved with the Italian mafia and has his own plans. When another mafia member enters Aiko's life and warns her about Inui, her inner conflict grows: Does he mean well, or is he plunging her even further into misfortune? (Source: TOKYOPOP, translated)
